CHOICE RECIPES prepared by Mrs. L. A. Humphreys.  Published by Crown Mills, Portland.  This is a small paper back pamphlet that has obviously been well used.  There are stains of previously prepared recipes on several of the pages.  I cannot find a date anywhere, however, the photo of Mrs. Humphreys looks to be 1900 - to 1930's.  Either way, this booklet is from an era when real women, cooked real food, in ill-equipt kitchens, from real ingredients and all from SCRATCH!   The recipes do sound very yummy!  More photos available via email.
